HOW IT ALL STARTED..E.
In our family we have literally grown around different makes and models of cars and motorbikes, we are all very passionate about the automotive industry, latest innovations and technology that is driving our lives.
Over the years we have identified the need for more quality used cars in the market and we have decided to do something about it. Car City was born to become the home of quality cars in North Gloucestershire, gradually growing and evolving. The company started as a father and son partnership and was registered in January 2016. Since then, it has been sourcing quality pre-owned vehicles, majority of which have been privately owned. The business concept has always been around best possible product and quality over quantity. Therefore, we may not have the biggest selection of cars but the ones we select undergo full pre-delivery inspection and are supplied with at least 10 month MOT.
More importantly being a small business allows us to be more competitive on price and having only a small selection of cars ensures that we truly get to know our stock. We do know our cars indeed and we can often give you more details about a car than a big dealer with 50+ vehicles in stock. Our vehicles are stored away in a secure compound from where a car of interest is then moved to registered office address for your appointment. Therefore, all viewings are by appointment only.
In addition, we also introduced support with car advertising, offering advice to help increase the chances of selling your vehicle. We find that a number of private car sellers out there miss out on a sale due to poor advertising practice or lack of negotiation skills. We also buy cars for cash (subject to condition) or can consider to take a car in part-exchange against one of ours. Most of our customers are offered more for their car than they would get from their main dealer
or services like WeBuyAnyCar.com.
We are optimistic that with our sales attitude, where customer is in the centre, the future looks bright for Car City. Quite a few of the cars we have sold ended up going abroad so perhaps we will look into import-export opportunities in the future. We are open to discuss any proposal whether you are a business or a private individual to accommodate your needs where necessary.
